Mr. Stubbs is an attorney focused on Estate Planning, Wills, and Trust Administration – practicing in Manhattan Beach, California. He has been certified as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate law by the California Board of Legal Specialization of the California State Bar.
Mr. Stubbs was the Chief Information Officer for Sony Pictures Entertainment. He was responsible for the global information technology infrastructure and applications supporting the company’s business units.
Prior to Sony, Mr. Stubbs was a senior partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) advising global clients in the entertainment industry for over 18 years. Mr. Stubbs served his client’s international interests while on extended deployments in Milan, Paris, and London. Mr. Stubbs headed the firm’s global digital content initiative during the rapid ascendency of the Internet and digital content in the late 1990s. Mr. Stubbs represented the firm on the music industry’s Secure Digital Music Initiative to limit piracy of digital content – recognized as an authority on Digital Rights Management.
Mr. Stubbs holds a BS degree in Physics from St. Mary’s College, California; MBA from University of California at Los Angeles, and a JD from Loyola Law School. He is a Certified Public Accountant (Illinois) and a member of the California State Bar. He served five years as a Naval Aviator flying the A-6 Intruder deployed aboard USS Midway.
My service in the US Navy is best seen in the following video which my bombardier navigator Ray Donnelly and I, along with some other contributors, used a Super8 movie camera to film our combat missions flying over Vietnam and Laos.
